Take the taxi
This dialogue happens in a taxi. Paula wants to go to the center of Paris.
She explains to the driver where she wants to go and the driver starts to chat
with her.
Driver: Hello, where are you going?
Paula: Gare de Lyon, please. How long does it take to get there?
Driver: Well, it's going to depend on the traffic.
Paula: I have a train at 15:45.
Driver: Well, if it rolls well, we'll be there in half an hour. Where are
you from ?
Paula: Excuse me?
Driver: Where are you from? You are spanish?
Paula: No, I'm Brazilian.
Driver: Brazil ... it's a dream. Copa Capabana. The beach, football.
Paula: Yes, oh, the reality is not all rosy either.
Driver: That's certain. It's like everywhere ... We've arrived!
Paula: Already?
Chauffeur: And yes, time flies in France. It will make us 55 euros.
Paula: Here, keep the change.
Driver: Thank you. Have a good day.
Paula: Goodbye.
