Consequences of accidents
We all know that road accidents are sometimes
fatal, some people die and others have lifelong consequences. Like the physical
and / or mental handicap. But in recent years we have noticed that the number
of deaths is decreasing in 2008. It has suffered a decrease of 2% compared to
2007 that is to say 4615 deaths against 4709 in 2007. We thus note that the
number of deaths decreases as well as the number of injuries but the severity
of the accidents increases.
Road accidents are very often responsible
for disabilities such as paraplegia, quadriplegia, paralysis, amputation that
make these people dependent. But there are also mental handicaps such as
inconsistency in his remarks, permanent agitation, neurological damage, ...
These people can not live alone, they
must depend on someone permanently.
We can also see that men are more
concerned by road accidents than women, ie 29 women against 81 men per million
victims, these accidents will leave them heavy handicaps for the rest of their
lives. But it is the young people who are the most affected and will have the
health, family, economic and social consequences that will be maximum.
