SWIMMING
Swimming is my
favorite sport. I started swimming when I was little in a club in Huesca called
Club Natación Zoiti. Our symbol is a white and green whale. We have a great
rivalry with Atletismo Huesca Club. My swimming style is freestyle, in
practice, freestyle events are always crawled. I also practiced the butterfly
which is the French name for the mariposa. I won a gold medal in a provincial
competition in the 100-meter freestyle, and two silver medals in the 50-meter
butterfly, and 100-meter relays with my friends.
My favorite
swimmer is Michael Phelps. He is American He is the swimmer who has won more
gold medals in the history of the Olympic Games: 18 in total. He participated
in the Olympic Games of Athens 2004, Beijing 2008 and London 2012. He is
characterized to have a very strong mentality, and to have trained every day of
the year during five years.
Michael and the American swimmers dominate the world swimming,
but in France there is a very important swimming school also with swimmers like
Amaury Leveaux and Alain Bernard. In Beijing, the Americans and the French have
played one of the most moving races in history.
