Social connections are of utmost importance and loneliness kills. The people most connected to their friends and their families are healthier. But loneliness is toxic. People who are socially isolated lose their health in mid-life, and their brain function slows down faster.

Some couples of octogenarians argue, but as long as they can count on each other, their memory does not falter.
